Meet Nico — an upcoming angler with saltwater in his blood

Nico is a New Jersey saltwater angler chasing fluke, bluefish, striped bass, tautog and plenty more along the Garden State coast. What makes his story different is the mission behind it: he is not only learning how to catch fish, he is learning how the whole industry works.

That means time on the water and time behind the scenes — seafood stores, clam harvests, charter decks running offshore for tuna and mahi, tackle shops, marinas and the people who make the fishery run. Every stop is a lesson, and every lesson goes back into the NICO brand.

He does it with his dad Shawn and his mom Chrissy right beside him. It is a strong family that represents New Jersey the right way: hard work, respect for the water, and a love for the coast they call home.
